Taking a break from photographing large weddings

It's been quite a while since I've written a formal blog post on the site, but there's been a change in gears here at CLW Photography.

I am taking a hiatus from photographing large weddings and focusing on small intimate weddings and elopements. This has been a long time coming, but it was hard to let go of when the inquires kept coming in. I've had some amazing clients that I've photographed in the last 12 years. My very first wedding I photographed was along side my grandfather when I was 13. As always, everything is tied around some of my favorite memories.

I decided I needed this change because of my kids. They are getting older and doing more fun things on the weekends. Life is so short and I'm not willing to miss this time with them. So for now, I'm saying good bye to the long days of wedding photography. I'm not sure if I will come back to it when the boys are older. I've come to the realization it's okay to not know what the future holds. The adventure is the fun of it.

I just want to take a moment to thank all of my couples who choose me to photograph their special day. It has been an honor to capture your love and celebrate with you. I owe it all to you for growing my business and giving it success. I wouldn't be here today with out you. THANK YOU! I decided to share a few of my favorite shots throughout the years below.
